Praises and Prayer Requests
Praises
- - Safety in Travels: As said before, in the month of March, we travelled close to 4000 miles, and God brought us through safely in every way. Our car is still running very well, and we were able to fix a problem with the alignment and tires that now gives us a much smoother ride down the many highway miles that we drive.
- - Aunt Carol’s Surgery : Tiffany’s Aunt Carol made it through her surgery this past Tuesday, and she is making a very good recovery. The loss of her right leg will be very difficult for her, but she is feeling much better and is doing well in recovery and her rehabilitation.
- - Classes at WBI Recommence : Classes have begun again at the Wesleyan Bible Institute. The student are studying in their third and final year, but this year they are able to study and reside at the New WBI building which was just dedicated this past January.
- - Teacher Voechner (Elizabeth) : In a recent prayer request, we asked that you pray for Teacher Voechnear as she was having some complications following the delivery of her daughter. She has made a full recovery, and we are very happy to report that she and the baby are dong well. Thank you for your prayers.
- - Vacation R&R: Praise the Lord as He provided a great time of rest and relaxation with Tim’s family in Florida last week. The weather was warm and we were able to spend good times with family and simply relaxing after a very busy month of March where we spoke at 7 different churches and travelled close to 4000 miles.
Prayer Requests
- - Continued Travels : Please continue to pray for our travels to our TEAM churches in the coming months. Pray that the car continues to run smoothly, and that we, especially Little Katie, remain safe and healthy during the many hours, days, and weeks on the road.
- - Support : Our time here in the United States is focused on reuniting with our TEAM members, informing them about the great work that God is doing overseas in Cambodia, and asking that they recommit to being a part of our TEAM for the coming term. Thus far, the process is going very well, so please continue to pray that our support level would remain at the level it needs to be for us to return to Cambodia in July.
- - Mission Team : Please continue to pray for Pastors Greg and Resie Fernandez as they minister in Cambodia with the WBI and the National Church. Pray that God would give them wisdom to make good decisions for the coming years of the ministry in Cambodia.
- - Dr. Romy Caringal : Please pray for Dr. Caringal as he is responsible for the entire Asia area as well as being the interim Mission Director for Cambodia. Pray for safety as he continues to travel and make plans for the future of the missions in Asia.
- - Classes Towards Ordination : As we begin to do the assignments for the classes in Theology and Old Testament that we are taking to become more equipped to serve God as missionaries in Cambodia, please pray that we would find a healthy balance of work and rest as we continue to travel to meet with our churches.
- - Pastor Sideth’s House and Health: Please pray for one of our pastors, Pastor Sideth, as his house was lost to a fire last month. Pastor Sideth was the pastor who was involved in the motorcycle accident several years ago, so this new tragedy is especially difficult for him and his family. Pray for his recovery and the Lord to care for and bless his family during this difficult time.
- - Katie’s Health: Please pray for Katie as we bring her along on all of these trips around the country. Pray that she remains healthy and strong, and that she continues to grow and mature as she needs to before we leave for Cambodia in July.
- - Language Study: Pray for our language study as well as we work to remember the language that we worked so hard to learn while we were in Cambodia.
